- I am a Canadian father, lawyer, columnist, skeptic and humanist interested in furthering a critical analysis of religious belief systems. The name "Atheist Missionary" is a sarcastic jab at religious fundamentalists. Atheists don't proselytize and are unified only by their freethinking nonbelief in the existence of a supernatural deity. In my preferred reality, philosophers would be treated like rock stars.

I just took a Sunday drive to go pick up my vehicle from an art gallery function that I attended with my wife last evening. What a beautiful day. And a great evening last night - thank goodness some fool offered me tickets.
ReplyDeleteWhen I got home I read my local community's list of events this summer. Flipping through the pages I was struck by the number of Bible Camps for children. The Bibleists are very powerful in my area. I wonder how many of those children resent the time that the daily Bible readings take away from their fun in the sun.
