This is an interesting item to follow your series of posts on Condell. One of Pat's major arguments against Bibleists is that they generally have trouble thinking independently -they are intellectually lazy, says Pat, in that they relish in the prospect of finding all the answers in the golden books. They essentially want to be "kept in their place" because it gives them comfort.
ReplyDeleteThe next time a mormon comes to your door, in addition to giving him that letter that you posted long ago, dress up like this guy in the photo and carry a very large book. You might get a new friend notwithstanding the letter. Cheers.
