I sure hope Makarios watches this because it undermines what I understand to be the foundation of his "faith":
The real "Good News" is that if we apply Makarios' reasoning, he does not exist.

Yes, improbably does not mean impossible. But doesn't it cut both ways? Even if you think it's improbable that a deity exists, you have to admit that it's not impossible.
ReplyDeleteAlso, asking "where did God come from?" is a simple category fallacy. God didn't have to come from anywhere like the natural world did.
I, personally, freely and openly admit that it is not impossible that God exists. But, Matthew, if you are suggesting that it is equally possible that God exists as it is possible that God does not exist, then I want you in my corner the next time I go to Mandalay Bay.
