The Survivor Thought Experiment and Shouldn't Extraordinary Claims Require Extraordinary Evidence?

Frequent visitors to this site will be aware that I am an admirer of the work of English philosopher Stephen Law and, from time to time, I post links to his articles which I find of particular interest. That being said, I strongly recommend that anyone interested in the logical deconstruction of religious faith or philosophical thought in general follow Law's blog on a regular basis. It is one of the best sites I have found on the web.

Law currently has two draft articles posted that are excellent: The Case of the Sixth Islander - http://stephenlaw.blogspot.com/2009/06/case-of-sixth-islander.html
and extracts from a paper he is writing on the historicity of Jesus - http://stephenlaw.blogspot.com/2009/06/extract-from-paper-i-am-writing-on.html

This stuff is golden. Law is a rare talent and many of those who comment on his site are pretty sharp darts as well.

  1. I agree that many commentators on Law's Blog are "sharp darts", but AM would be considered one of the duller tacks in the drawer.
