God's Checklist 2.0

If only there was some way I could get every person who calls themself a Christian to watch this video by TheoreticalBullshit:



If they handed out Academy Awards for succinct debunking of the Bible, this guy would get my nod. Bravo.

Postscript - I implored Christian blogger Makarios to watch the video and this was his response:

He reminds me too much of myself when I was his age. He reeks of arrogance. "Because I can't understand something no one else can understand it either." That's what he thinks and that's what I thought @ twenty something.

Honestly? It's a good things he's digital and not at my front door. I'd be in jail for aggravated assault within half an hour of talking to that asshole.

I passed this post on to a collegue who you AM are familiar with...let us just say he shares the odd monday evening with me and he loves soccer...eeeeesh...I got a bit of an earful...and he used the term zealot in regards to your side bar descripiton....eesssh....I responded that you are quietly stashing ammunition and various large calibre weapons awaiting the atheist version of rapture...in whatever form that may take...

    was an interesting and more sprited response then I expected...maybe I should just stay away from this site....

  3. tommyboy, we live in an area where ANY criticism of religion is akin to wearing a scarlett letter. Atheists are categorized somewhere between pedophiles and car salesmen.

    If I am accused of being a zealot for calling people out on their irrational beliefs, then I plead guilty as charged.

  4. I loved this. It's a breath of fresh air when people from my generation take the time to think about religion and philosophy.

    It took me a few minutes to figure out who he was, but after I did, it did make me laugh.

    But man, my doucheometer needs replacing after watching that. Totally agree but it's still a douchy, smarmy presentation.
