This value is based on a number of factors, the most important being average daily viewership and mentions on aggregate sites. Basically, the value gives you some idea of the worth which an advertiser might pay for someone's domain name and control of their site.

I would be interested to know what percentage of websites that have used that valuator has ever been sold for a price within 10% of the estimated value. My guess - less than 1%.
