My question is why does god more concerbed about saving the piece of chalk than the estimated 26,000 children who die around the world each day from causes directly related to poverty? ReplyDeleteOxfam International is one of the very best initiatives in the world in the last 50 years. It is unfortunate that many do not know anything about it; in fact, I suspect that many readers of this Blog have never heard of it. I would encourage those who are unfamiliar with Oxfam to learn more about it.
ReplyDeleteNothing in the disadvantaged world will ever really change unless we fundamentally overhaul the structure and operations of the two most powerful global socio-economic agencies: the World Bank and the Intrenational Monetary Fund. Oxfam understands that.
