Cardinal ... it turns out both assertions are quite probable

"To assert that the earth revolves around the sun is as erroneous as to claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin."

Cardinal Bellarmine at the trial of Galileo in 1615.

Yes, Cardinal, it is indeed the same.

"Eradication of religion"? Without faith whatever is your reason to live? For what is a soul's purpose if there is no Greater Being? The many miracles of life cannot be explained, and we now know Darwin was wrong, and yet you want to eradicate religion? How messed up is that?!

A part of Robert Bellarmine's patronage is the Archdiocese of Cincinnati (no joke). Need anyone say more?

At least the Browns remain pathetic consistently; the Bungles like to torture their faithful. Much like Robert.

Hey, 3Up3Down, you ask : "what is a soul's purpose if there is no Greater Being?"

Well since there are NO such things as souls, what is your point? No souls, no greater beings, that's reality.

Erradicating religion is not messed up. Believing in imaginary fantasy crap like Greater Beings is messed up.

Religion is a sham and a crutch for weak-minded people who seek strength in numbers.
