This is just too much fodder. Please tell me this was all in context because, if not, this guy is an absolute idiot.
Granted, it may not be his religious ideology that thwarts his intelligence but the lackluster education he received. Somebody! Please! Increase funding for education! Real education.
This is just brilliantly indicative of the lack of real thinking by creationists. It's in the bible it must be real! Ha ha ha! Try reading OTHER books, then you may get an understanding of how the world actually evolved.
I guess buggery is OK too as long as it occurred in the Bible. Maybe those men in robes are going to Heaven after all.
In this particular case, I don't think Fundy is looking to screw his sister. He is debating history. Far more important to me, is what religious extremists are actually doing, or would do, if they believed that the instructions came from God. Is there any point where a true believer can say "God, anything but that! Here is where I draw the line."
At first I laughed at this, but almost half of America believes the bible is innerant, which is frightening.! A scary thought to think about.
